End of Summer Fashion Show Leeds Castings -

Apply to be in the 2011 show

This is a great opportunity to work on a live event and gain some publicity for your skills.

You will also have the chance to network with some influencial people in the industry. As it's a charitable event it will be unpaid. However it could become invaluable to your portfolio.

We can provide photos and a video to anyone who has work to present for example models, designers or make up artists, and a reference for those more behind the scenes.

The experience you gain will also be of great use for future events that you may be involved in.

We are looking for:

Fashion Designers:

Whether you are established or just starting out we want to see what you can do.

We will be looking for 13 designers and who will ideally show between 8-15 garments from their collection.

You can use an existing collection, or like many designers in previous years make one bespoke for the show.

Please note the cost for chosen designers is £25 - this goes towards marketing

Models - attend the Casting Day:

Promotors:

Do you have a flair for conversation and networking. do you already know people in and around the Leeds area. Then apply here.

We need people to contact the press, give out leaflets, put posters up, approach investors and potential designers/businesses.

Ideally we'd like to get a team together.

Photographers/ Filmakers:

We want to record this event so that it will always be remembered and photos and videos are also one of the best promotion tools for future events. They will also add to your portfolio and that of the models and designers.

Make up Artists

We need make up artists to create the look for the evening.

Personal Assistants:

We would also like assistants who would be in charge of people in the other roles. You would contact designers and people who may be interested along with promotion, and dressing the models on the night.

You will need to be reliable and dedicated, but you would gain a lot of experience on what it's like to actually run a successful event in a city centre.

There's loads of roles available: dressing backstage, fitting clothing, setting up on the day.. etc etc
